I got a really cool topic for you for today. It's willpower is not enough, this actually came from a book called willpower is not enough, I highly recommend getting yourself a copy of that book. And in the book, the author, I can't remember the author's name, but the author talks about the five environmental factors that that contributed to people that have like, just strived and like just done really great things.

And I know that's what we all we all want. You know, if you're listening to this, right now, you are an achiever, you are a go getter, right, you're somebody who makes things happen, you're somebody who wants to have a bigger impact, you want to impact people on a larger scale. And this author identified the five environmental factors, so like, ways that you can optimize your environment for growth, okay, because if you're anything like me, that is the goal you want, you want growth, you want, you want personal growth, you want financial growth, you want all kinds of growth, to be to be happening in your life.

And these are these five environmental factors to four, you know, people that they've identified, that have grown very, very quickly in, you know, various different areas. This, you know, absolutely applies to business, but it's not limited only to business. So here are these five environmental factors.

Number one is high investment, people that invest heavily have a tendency to grow quickly.

Okay, so anytime you've ever thought like, this is so expensive, I am putting so much money into my business, this is so expensive, it's like you've like that is one of the environmental factors for growth, right, you've got to eat, I mean, you've got to be willing to it open to invest in what you say that you want for yourself.

Okay, I have, I mean, I have personally invested hundreds of 1000s of dollars into my own growth into my own business, both from, you know, in the form of coaching in the form of, you know, buying products and courses in the form of getting to live events, both the cost of the ticket to get to the event, and the you know, the also very expensive cost of like, the hotel room and that in the plane tickets and travel, right, like I have invested heavily into my own growth in the form of getting to live events.

You know, so I, like I said, live events, coaching courses, you know, advertising, I've put a lot of financial resources out there. And I've put a lot of the financial resources that have come back right back into, you know, again, the my own growth, right. And, and I did this way before I knew anything about this book, okay. So, factor number two, environmental factor number two, for people that have experienced rapid growth in their businesses in their lives.

Factor Number two is social pressure, social pressure, if you've ever heard of the, you know, if you've ever heard that, that you are the average of the five people that you hang out with, because, you know, it's along the same lines, right? It's kind of it's like the same, the same principle is that, you know, if you if you are hanging around with people that are kicking butt, and people that are putting themselves out there and people that are taking risks, you're going to be much more likely to do those things.

If you are hanging around with people that are not taking risks and are not putting themselves out there and that are not, you know, ever going for it or doing anything, right then then you're then most likely I mean, your results will reflect that. Right? Because Because you are because you're because your environment is not pulling for your greatness.

See, you want to optimize your environment, so that it pulls for your greatness, right. So like, I go to events, where, where the, you know, other people in the room are making 10 times more money than me, they're their businesses are 50 100, even more than that times where I'm at in terms of my growth and my development as a marketer. And as an entrepreneur, I see, that's me optimizing my environment for, you know, to pull for my greatness to pull for the biggest and fastest results possible.

But, you know, think about the the accountability tracker tracking system, like, you know, you know, in our group, we have our, our momentum tracker, and the momentum trackers are due every Friday, right, because if because, by you sharing, right, sharing your results every single week, sharing the the income producing activities and the points that you're getting on a weekly basis, you see how that's social pressure, it's like you You are now being pulled to perform, because you don't want to look bad in front of your peers.

And that that I mean, whether you like that or not that that is that is just a driving factor for human beings. You know, whether you want that to be a driving factor for you or not, it is because we are social creatures. That's why we do things like the momentum tracker in, in our group, that's why we have you report on your results, because it's going to it, we're optimizing your environment, to pull you forward to pull for your greatness.

Number three, high consequences for poor performance. The number three, the third factor around people that have experienced tremendous growth, rapid growth in their business and lives. The third environmental factor is high consequences for poor performance. See, if you're just alone on your own little island, and you're not performing. There's no consequences. I mean, you can I mean, it's just you by yourself. There's no there's no accountability.

You know, I mean, just just what I talked about a minute ago about the about the the momentum tracker and reporting your points, reporting your income producing activities, on a on a weekly basis, every single Friday, by the way, set a reminder for yourself, get your accountability, get your momentum tracker, start tracking your points if you're not doing it already, and be ready to post those points on Friday, because it's part of how we keep you accountable to doing the income producing activities in your business. And it's just it's just one of the consequences, right?

At the factor is high consequences for poor performance. If you're not performing well, there's going to be a consequence there. And we've set up the coaching program in that way.

Number four is high difficulty. So any of you that are that are I mean, if I mean, if you've ever had the thought like, this should be easier. Why isn't this easier? You know, I wish this were easier. I mean, there, you know, that brings up like the old Jim Rohn, quote, which is, don't wish it for don't wish for it to be easier, wish for you to be better, like difficult having standards having having things be be be difficult and challenging.

That is how you grow picture, like lifting up a weight, like your lift, you know, doing like curls or like a bench press, it is the resistance is the fact that it is difficult for your muscles. That is how your muscles grow. The difficulty means you will grow faster. But what you need to make sure that you're not doing is and people do this all the time. We see this all the time. People, they it's hard. And they experience it being hard.

And they think that because it's hard, they shouldn't do it. Because they think it should be easier. So because it's hard, they don't do it. And because of that they never experienced the growth. They never experienced anything beyond where they're at because they are they are they are failing to to do the difficult things. Right? But it's the difficult things that are going to make you grow.

Don't ever think I wish this were easier. Think how can I be better, right? So that so that the same thing that used to be hard for me is now easy. And I mean, I'm just going to go back to the example of like, you know, lifting weights, or any kind of fitness or exercise. It's like it used to be hard but if you do it regularly, it becomes easier.

So because it's hard, they don't do it. And because of that they never experienced the growth. They never experienced anything beyond where they're at because they are they are they are failing to to do the difficult things. Right? But it's the difficult things that are going to make you grow. Don't ever think I wish this were harder.

Think how can I be better, right? So that so that the same thing that used to be hard for me is now easy. And I mean, I'm just going to go back to the example of like, you know, lifting weights, or any kind of fitness or exercise. It's like it used to be hard but if you do it regularly, it becomes easier. don't ever don't ever think that because it's difficult, that should be a reason not to do it, or that's a reason why I should, that's a reason to do it. Okay, you do difficult things because, you know, it's like, do difficult things now in your life will be easy in the long term. If If all you do is make decisions that make things easy for yourself, in the short term, in the long term life will be hard.

Okay, that you got it, you got to get this, like this is something that you, you might want to listen to over and over again, you might want to write it down. If you if you optimize things in your life, so that things are hard. In the short term, your life will be easy in the long term, if you optimize your life, so that things are easy. In the short term, your life will be hard in the long term. And I don't know about you, but I would much rather had to, you know, make difficult decisions in the moment, have things be hard now and easier over the next 30 to 40 years of my life.

And I don't know about you, but I would much rather had to, you know, make difficult decisions in the moment, have things be hard now and easier over the next 3040 years of my life.

We want to, we want things to be to be challenging for you, you know, while you're going through this program, because we know that that's going to strengthen your muscles, you will grow as a marketer, you will grow as an entrepreneur because of that resistance.

Number five is novelty, novelty, it's got it's got to be new things have got to be new, you've got to be able to adapt, you've got to be able to reinvent, you've got to be able to pivot. Right. reinvention, newness, it's like, it's one of the things that that you've you, you've just got to be able to, you know, and just for the sake of marketing, like sales and marketing, like you've got to reinvent things.

So that tape to your audience, then you want your audience to say Wow, I've never seen this before. Thank you, that's the experience that you want your prospects to have. Wow, I've never seen anything quite like this before. I've seen things that maybe are similar, but I've never seen it explained quite like this. I've never seen it presented quite like this I've never seen it's got to occur as a as something new. Right. And if you can, if you're able to, to adapt and you're able to reinvent and you're able to, to, to pivot, right, it gives you a tremendous advantage in the marketplace.

So I'm going to go through the list one more time.

Number one is high investment. And we have built all of those things into this program that you are in right right now. And that is it is designed so that you can experience the fastest growth possible.
