Don’t let the fear of failure paralyze your business

Adam - One thing that I've seen a lot in the last several several years in the home business industry is is people with a lot of potential. Right and you know, big goals and dreams and everything who don't get the results that they want, because they're not willing to look back. Right. It's like, I see a lot of people and I posted this in the group a few days ago, but it was really just, you know, just a post I wanted to expand on this is, is make sure that you're not stifling your growth because you're not willing to be bad if you're not willing to look back. Right. And I think it's especially important and especially true in like, you know, the age of like attraction marketing and everything where you like, you want to position yourself as like an expert who knows what you're talking about.

You want to position yourself as like as, you know, a credible authority. So rather than, you know, looking like you're not a credible authority, you just do nothing. Right and then and that's what the majority of people do, that's what the struggling masses do. And I want to help you to not be one of the struggling masses and actually, you know, get the results that you want and create life changing results that are absolutely possible in you know, like in this type of business in this type of environment, but it's not going to happen if you're not taking any actions because you're afraid of looking back. Okay.

And I think that that, like as human beings we put so much emphasis on to like, how we look right and like like we're like, like we're afraid to like look bad, but and in doing so, we don't develop the skills because we don't take any action because we don't want to look that right like you have got to get over that. If you want any chance of success in this dynamic and highly competitive industry. Okay, that's just a fact. I mean, you can't like you've got to be, you've got to be willing to put yourself out there. Even when you don't look that great even when you don't know what you're doing. Even, you know, it's like you just need to start taking more action. Don't worry so much about like, you know, is this good enough or like because perfectionism kills people in this industry.

I've seen it so many times is that people with with so much potential and big goals and big dreams, they never get anywhere in their business because they're not because they're afraid of looking bad. So they, so they don't do anything. They don't put themselves out there. They don't take any actions. And in doing so they fail. It's like, it's like the fear of failing is actually what's keeping them failing. Right. So a lot of times you just need to, you just need to get yourself out there and just start taking action. And like even because you're going to learn so much more in the process of taking action, then then then then you will from like learning a million things and then going and taking action that's what people do, too.

That's another trap in this industry is like being in like perpetual learning mode. And like never actually taking any action. Like because if you're just learning if you're just saying like, well, I just need to understand this a little bit more before I actually do anything. You see how that's like it's a way of staying in your comfort zone. You get to stay safe, right? You get by doing that if you just focus on learning, and you just say I just need to learn a little bit more or perfectionism you know, and that's also it's a form of procrastination, that that it keeps you safe because you don't have to confront that you're that you don't have these skills yet. Right.

Like if you're serious about building a successful business about going from you know, zero to six figures, right or zero or, you know, six to seven figures, like you're going to have to develop some new skills, and you're going to have to develop some new habits around those skills. Okay, and if you're not willing to do that, then then you're usually won't get the results but stop fooling yourself into thinking that you're going to get the results by just learning and not taking any action because it doesn't work like that. You've got to be and that's why we put so much emphasis like on like, you know, doing the morning formula and some of you know, the mindset fundamentals.

And also, you know, we put a lot of emphasis on like tracking and sharing your results. And a lot of people don't do that because they don't want to be held accountable because if they're held accountable, then they get then they'll get to see it's like a look in the mirror. Like all the areas where they're falling short. All the areas where they're just the what they're doing is not up to snuff. There's a major disconnect between the results that they say that they want and the actions that they're taking to get there. Right. That's why we put so much emphasis on tracking your income producing results.

Because that's what's going to lead to you getting those results and if you're not doing that, then you probably don't want to be held accountable. And if you don't want to be held accountable, then you probably aren't that serious about growth. And there's in you're probably experiencing some frustration around it because there's like this internal conflict within you. That's like one part of you is saying that you want these results but then the other part of you is not taking the necessary actions, you know that and that's going to create, you know, discontent like internal discontent asked me now I know.

Alright, so so it's just like it's just really important that like you can't have six figure goals, right for your business and your life. But, but you have like, you know, $1,000 a month work ethic, right? Like that's what a lot that's what people are doing this what so many people are doing in this industry. Their mouth says six figures a year, you know, but they're what their actions and their habits, say 500 bucks a month. You know, it's like, you gotta use there's there needs to be a connection, a correlation between the goals that you say that you want and the actions that you're willing to take in order to get to those goals.

Okay, this is the Monday Mindset it's all like what like are your goals are you're like developing the mindset and the skills and the habits that you need to succeed in over a very long period. of time. But what you say that you want in, in the actions and the skills that develop and your willingness, willingness to put yourself out there in order to get that there's got to be a better connect. There's got to be a stronger connection between those things. What you say that you want, and, you know the actions that you're taking in order to get there. Okay, that's my, my message for you this Monday.

You know, one of the coolest things about being an entrepreneur and this I think this just goes for, you know, maybe it's not just limited to entrepreneurship is every day, you you can is every new day is a new opportunity to turn it all around and like draw a line in the sand and have that tough conversation with yourself. Of like, Am I doing what is necessary? Am I taking the necessary actions to do what I say that I want for myself and that's why we put so much emphasis on doing the morning formula and getting yourself ready presence on a daily basis to what you say that you want for yourself your business you're in and your life and the people that are in your life?

That's why they make you know in this industry that they make such a big deal of like you know, in the companies that you join and everything they make such a big deal of like getting connected to Wi-Fi right. I used to think that it was you know, it was kind of cheesy, but But it's like the juice if you think that if you're just doing this to like to make a few 100 extra dollars for yourself like it's just you're not going to be that inspired to do anything. But like if your goal is to, you know, to create a six figure business so that you can send your kid to like the best schools and like you've got a clear vision for that. You're going to take the actions you're going to deal with the discomfort that's going to be required with building this sort of business.

Like it's not like you're going to like like make things that are uncomfortable, comfortable or you're going to like get rid of everything that's uncomfortable for you and just build your business just by like watching videos and that stuff. I mean, in a perfect world. Maybe that would be the case. But that's not how this works, right? There's going to be discomfort. You're going to have to get out of your comfort zone. You're going to have to do things that you don't like, right, you're going to have to do things that are going to be really uncomfortable and that's why you need a big why that's why you need it.

That's why we say you know, do get, you know, create a morning formula for yourself. That is going to be inspiring, that's going to that's going to be the juice that's going to move you through all of the you know where because if you can have a big vision, then you'll be able to deal with more discomfort, more pain than you otherwise would be able to. Okay, so that's what I'm going to leave you it's like just maybe this is one of those days where you draw a line in the sand or you have that tough conversation with yourself of like, Am I doing all that's necessary to make this work to do what I say that I want? And if you don't have a big vision, I'm telling you go back to the morning formula.

There's gold there, there is juice there like but you need to figure out what that is for yourself. Maybe you're the kind of person that wants to Lamborghinis and who can't who cares? Like if that's what is going to fire you up and that's going to like make you take the necessary actions then do that. If it's like saving the world or you know you've got some big goals to like to like you know, help other people and benefit your communities and benefit your family. If that's what is going to give you that juice to do to take those necessary actions.

Then do that whatever it is, you know, take you to know get clear on what that is. And represents yourself on a daily basis to because I can tell you from years of experience that every time you hit a goal, you want to go to another level there's going to be a pain, there's going to be discomfort. You're going to have to get out of your comfort zone in order to get to that next level and hit that next goal. Right, so you better have a big vision in place. Otherwise, you're just going to quit, you'll quit. You'll self sabotage.
