Adam - Welcome to the digital upline show this is Adam Chandler and in this episode I'm going to be interviewing one of our students, her name is Kimo Thomas Dennis, and she's going to be sharing how we helped her to go from hardly ever enrolling any new people into our business to consistently enrolling two new reps per week into her business like clockwork, how she how we helped her to dial in her marketing message her approach that she's taking to how she's positioning herself and her business on the internet, some time blocking and productivity things that she learned from us, to help her maximize the time that she was devoting to her business. That's all coming your way right now. Enjoy the interview.

Welcome Welcome everybody. Hello everyone in the digital digital upline communities. They're coming at you, once again, with with another rock star interview with one of our just up and coming just superstar producers. Miss Kimo, Thomas, Dennis in New Jersey, how you doing Kimo?

Kimo - Great, how well how are you?

Adam - I'm Wonderful, thank you it's, it's been a real pleasure to, you know, to coach you as part of our program and to watch you. You know grow you know as a as a marketer and as an entrepreneur, to the point where now you are you're consistently enrolling one to two reps per week into your network marketing business using 100% free social media marketing strategies that you, they learned with with us. Correct?

Kimo - Yeah, absolutely. So excited about it.

Adam - That's That's awesome. Yeah, I can see that that's that's great. Tell me what, just give a real brief background like what did you do before the home business industry, what do you, where are you are you are you still working full time job right now.

Kimo - Yes, I work a full time job, I work for the mobile operations team, and the pharmaceutical Life Sciences industry so I have a really really busy schedule. And that's what I've been doing I still do it and I still find time to work on my business as well.

Adam - Yeah, I mean, and obviously get, you know, not just work on your business but like get real. You know, real consistent results in your business. So let's, I mean how do you how do you do that how do you do that while working a full time job do you, do you have a very set schedule where you work your business, outside of your regular work i mean is that is that like pretty structured or is it. Are you just kind of flying by the seat of your pants?

Kimo - Well definitely not flying by the seat. From the coaching from the chorus I really learned a lot about time blocking. So I have set time, and Monday that I work on my business and it might be also some time during lunch times. I work on the business as well so I have time that I'm posting time that I'm building up. So from the coaching that I've received. I've really been able to maximize my time so that it all fits in time for my busy work schedule, and I have time also to build my business, build my dream.

Adam - And tell me. What is it that like what were you doing to build your business before you met us right and how is that, how is that going for you like what were you help I mean have you have you been in the business for a long time before you came into our program? What was that look like?

Kimo - Well I've been in my network marketing company for a little over a year so I had been in the business for about eight months for joining this opportunity. And I would consider, I was not organized at all, a little, I would call them scatterbrained So just imagine it as an unorganized closet. I would say that was coming into the program but when I learned really helped me get good foundation really get organized and help them get a lot of clarity and through that clarity, organization, it really helped me become more successful because I began to think more strategically and not as scatterbrained as I was before before I was finding time here or running after something they're running out through an email there. So I would say that what I got was just the structure, the organization and the clarity that I needed to have the focus that I needed for my success.

Adam - yeah wow that's that's great and. And what about from like from like a marketing standpoint like like are you. I mean, it seems to me like you're having a lot more you're talking to a lot more people a lot more people are engaging with the things that you're that you're putting out there you're having regular consistent conversations with people on the internet with complete strangers on the internet comes out about working with you like what does that What does, what does that look like?

Kimo - It's a lot of fun I just say I'm having fun. But what's more fun for me is I'm solving a problem. And that's how it helped me change my mind and my ideas with what I'm proposing. I'm a problem solver, so it's more fun because I'm listening to a problem that a person is saying to me. I'm also sharing with me with them, how I can help them solve a problem that they have. And we're moving forward so I see it as more of an interaction, but it's fun for me it's not painful.

Adam - What I'm hearing is that it's, you know, you're taking more of a service perspective right where it's like you're you're approaching your prospects from, from the point of what you know what problem can I solve for you How can I help you, how can I serve you, rather than what most home business owners do do what you probably were doing before which was just trying to, you know, beat people over the head with your business.

Kimo - That's the way I follow that in my personal life and how that my business has helped me show up more in that way versus your personal data with your opportunity now it's more of a seven year.

Adam - Yeah, yeah. Great, okay cool and then, how much you know how much marketing content, are you putting out there you know, so like a big like a big part of what we're what we're teaching is how to put put out leadership branded content, right, that creates curiosity, right and it gets people reaching out to you, how much of that content Are you are you sharing on social media, like in a given week is it like every single day of the week is it, certain certain days of the week?

Kimo - A few posts Monday through Friday what I like to do out there. So I think about it, I want to talk about and I plan it out so I spend like maybe Saturday, thinking about women, going forward and they have scheduled it out so I would say, five days out of a week. Scheduled out, and then I'm spending the rest of the time to balance my time management is what helps me just to spend my time interacting with people versus thinking of a post on that day in that moment is interacting so I'm using that approach to leverage my time.

Adam - Gotcha. Okay. And then what about what would you say has been like the biggest mindset shift that you've had that has, you know, that you that you've got from our program that has helped you to you know make that transition from where you aware now to, you know, where you were then to where you are now in terms of results?

Kimo - Well, there's so many nuggets that I don't have to just pick one. And for me, it really came out of the sails boot camp. It was becoming a listener helped me to improve my posture when they buy my posture is, you know, I'm having a conversation I'm here listen I'm here to serve the person who's on the other line with me, and I'm not approaching them as someone that's hungry or desperate. There have been times that I may have seen that someone was not the best fit for my opportunity and I really appreciate that so that was my mind shift. I don't just now say hey I want anyone living and breathing. I really want to solve a problem for someone. And those are the people that I offer to so it's my posture, that is the best shift from this program.

Adam - Yeah. And that means that you can they can be you know you can be more picky with who you choose to work with, not just enrolling anybody you know anybody with a pulse or anybody who can anybody who can fog a mirror Have you ever heard of that. You put a mirror under their under the nose and have to find out that they're that they're a good prospect like no no no it's like you are the one who's saying, who I get to work with who I want to help, and yeah that's that's that's brilliant I love that. I mean, what would you what kind of what advice would you give to anybody who is, you know, maybe, maybe just starting out or like they haven't quite figured out, you know how to grow their business beyond their warm list of family and friends right maybe they've gone through their their their their warm market or, or they're just like they're ready to explore like other avenues for finding finding prospects what, what advice would you give to that person?

Kimo - My advice would be I told you there were many things I've learned so one thing that's taught this program is about your mindset. That is so important and it's not until I was able to change my mind that I was able to have the type of success that I want to immediate. So I would say be open but be open from how you to change your mind like the day you start, you're going to be a total better person, so much more involved. When you are done with this program that was what happened to me and I believe that that happened with anyone else so yes you may be at a certain point, but just open your mind. Just imagine where you want to be a be coachable. That's really important. When ideas when the coaching was offered to me. I actually listened and took action on what I was being coached to do. And that has showed up in my life in my business in many many different ways. And the best way is that I'm starting to have the success that I've been after all alone so thanks for being open with your mind and being coachable.

Kimo - Oh absolutely, all of the coaching is so well worth it. It's so helpful, and it's changed my life, not just today but in months and years to come, just so happy and excited, is I think that coming in this coming into my life joining this community has really blessed me.
